Steeped in history, Ouplaas Guesthouse - situated 13 km from Ottosdal in the North West Province - is an enchanted, aristocratic sandstone building with a distinct character and old-worldly charm. Set amidst age-old trees and a beautiful lush green garden, this is an oasis in Northwest.
Ouplaas has a four star grading and is centrally situated in North West and offers ideal accommodation for various sports and other events in this area such as the popular agricultural show, Nampo, cycling races, running and horse-riding events. It is also a welcoming stop-over for tourists on their way to or returning from the Kgalagadi Transfrontier.
This is a fully-catered facility, offering world-class service. Comfortable conference and wedding facilities are also available. Activities include large dam (20 hectare) on farm for water-skiing, canoeing, swimming, two tennis courts, bird watching, horse-riding, and hiking on farm. Golf and other recreational activities are available at a nearby club. Children of all ages will enjoy the farm life with donkey-cart trips and sleeping in a barn.
